Wellness Student Team

The Office of the Dean of Students has a dedicated team of wellness student staff who are supervised by the Community Wellness Coordinator and Director, Community Wellness. As upper-year Trinity College students, these staff members bring valuable lived experience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive, and connected campus community. Through their programming, outreach, and engagement efforts, the wellness student staff help create welcoming spaces and meaningful opportunities for students to connect, learn, and thrive.

Hours of Operation: Coming in September

What happens here: Designed as a place where students can relax, connect, and recharge, the Abbott Room serves as a hub for many of the wellness initiatives offered throughout the academic year.

Mental Health Peer Advisors (MHPAs)

MHPAs are upper-year Trinity College students that have experienced the success and challenges of university. The team of MHPAs all bring a passion for mental health promotion and holistic wellness that they hope to bring into the community.  Students are encouraged to come MHPA events which will be held across campus!

Wellness Programming Assistants (WPAs)

The WPA play a key role in managing the Abbott Room, Trinity’s wellness space. They run a variety of standing programs in the space – Coffee, Tea and Connect, the Mending Corner, Crafting Time – and ensure the space is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for all students. Come by and meet our WPAs! 

Health Promotion Assistants (HPAs)

The HPA team develops and delivers health and wellness programming designed to support students’ physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. Their fun programs are held across Trinity campus – come and join us!
