Trinity College’s Integrated Sustainability Initiative invites you:
Come help us begin the planting of a native plant medicine garden on the George and Martha Butterfield Rooftop Farm. This event will include an opening of the garden led by Elder in Residence at the Indigenous Education Network and Knowledge Keeper, Grandmother Shirley. This event is open to all members of the U of T and extended community.
We hope that this garden can grow into a significant site for teaching, learning, and harvesting for our community in years to come. Please come with an open mind and heart. Participants should meet in the Community Kitchen located on the 2nd Floor of the Lawson Centre for Sustainability (25 Devonshire Place) at 10:00 am. This event will take place both at the Community Kitchen and Rooftop Farm.
- Date: Friday, October 16 from 10 am to 12 pm
