As the Class of 2026 heads out into the world, we asked graduating students to share their favourite Trinity memories. From late nights in residence to sunny afternoons in the Quad, here’s what they told us:
“My favourite memory at Trinity was living in residence in first year. It was where I first felt the warmth and close community of Trinity, and where I met some of my closest friends. That year made Trinity feel like home, and those friendships are something I will always treasure.”
“My favourite memories are meals shared with my friends in Strachan and the Quad. Close second are the intramural sports I played alongside friends.”
“Singing Messiah at St. James Cathedral with the Chapel Choir.”
“The first time it snowed and the Quad was transformed into a beautiful snowy wonderland.”
“My favorite memory at Trinity is attending the Trinity College Undergraduate Research Conference with one of my best friends for over eight years now and having the most fun together!”
“Coordinating this year’s Orientation Week is my fondest memory at Trinity. It reminded me of the incredibly unique community we have at this College, the precious memories that are made throughout the university experience from start to finish, and the growth that every student at U of T experiences from an unsure first-year to a caring and competent (if not still a bit unsure) graduate.”
“I really enjoyed travelling to Hamilton with my friends to watch the solar eclipse in April 2024!”
“The annual book sale. I worked closely with the Friends of the Library for three years, starting from a volunteer to a co-organizer for the student workers and volunteer team.”
