Cathy Graham ’62 was profiled in The Hill Times on April 29 alongside fellow longtime Liberal volunteer Heather Peterson. Graham, the widow of former Liberal cabinet minister and Trinity’s 12th chancellor Bill Graham ’61, recently lent her experience and contacts to MP Danielle Martin’s campaign in the University–Rosedale byelection. Graham and Peterson have been active in the party’s organizing networks since 1977.
The Rev. Warren Leibovitch ’95 has joined the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas as canon for congregational vitality, after 29 years in the Diocese of Toronto and five years in the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. In his new role he travels the diocese — which covers the whole state — preaching and working with congregations large and small on evangelism, stewardship, visioning, and parishes in transition. He also continues as chaplain for the Green Valley, Arizona chapter of the Military Officers Association of America.
Mayo Moran, former provost of Trinity College, has been named the 2026 recipient of the University of Toronto’s Vivek Goel Faculty Citizenship Award, which recognizes sustained contributions and exceptional citizenship within the U of T community. During her tenure as provost, Moran established a mental health program at Trinity and raised funds for the construction of the Lawson Centre for Sustainability. She is now dean emerita of the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law.
Pam Patterson ’79 is a professor at OCAD University, leading the Creative Research Inclusive Practices (CRIP) Lab and 113Research, a research-creation gallery. Her forthcoming publications include “Fish-Slapping: Dancing Feminist Disability” in Canadian Women’s Studies and “Deliberate Ambivalence as a Generative Methodology: Reflecting on Emergent Crip Creative and Curatorial Practices in Art Education” in the Canadian Review of Art Education.
The Very Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Ready DMin ’20 and Trinity’s Theological Librarian Allison Graham have been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion. Ready is Director of Orthodox Christian Studies and Reimagining Contemporary Ministries in the Faculty of Divinity; Graham is Instruction and Theology Librarian at the John W. Graham Library. Their project, “Knowledge, Power, and Formation in the Age of AI: A Theological and Indigenous Wisdom Workshop Series,” will explore the pedagogical and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence through the lenses of Christian theological anthropology and Indigenous epistemologies.
Former Chancellor G.B. Strathy compiled two scrapbooks documenting the life of his son Pat Strathy, a brilliant young Trinity student killed while serving in the Second World War. At the initiative of his great-nephew Tristan Strathy, the volumes have been transferred from McMaster University and join the Archives’ growing record of Trinity lives alongside its authoritative holdings in Canadian history and international relations. Marianna (Svab) Vecchiarelli ’93 is now a director at Crane Lake Management Group Inc., which provides procurement, estimating, bid analysis, fairness review, and project management quantifying services to the construction industry. She is also a member of the Barrie Construction Association’s Women in Construction group.
Barrie Wilson ’66 is professor emeritus of religious studies at York University and current president of the Academy of Lifelong Learning in Toronto.
